Affinity Workforce Solutions are working in partnership with multi‑academy trusts across Weston‑Super‑Mare who are looking for teaching assistants for both primary, secondary and SEND schools.

Successful candidates should be willing to work with children who have a variety of learning abilities and needs, be encouraging and positive, as well as being supportive to their educational needs.

Qualifications
  • Have a sound understanding of Primary / Secondary Education
  • Have excellent literacy, numeracy, and communication skills
  • Have experience of supporting children in all aspects of the curriculum
  • Will be a team player, as well as using their initiative and good sense of humour
  • Have experience of working with children with a range of additional needs including Autism, Speech and language difficulties both in small groups and 1 : 1
  • Have a positive approach and be flexible to the demands of the job.
