Full-Time Long-Term September 2025 Start

Supply Desk is delighted to be partnering with a friendly and inclusive Primary School in Bushey. We re currently seeking a compassionate and experienced Teaching Assistant to join the school on a full-time, long-term basis from September 2025.

This is a rewarding opportunity to provide 1:1 support to a child with Global Developmental Delay (GDD), helping them access learning and thrive within a nurturing school environment. If you re dedicated to supporting children with additional needs, we d love to hear from you.

The Role:

You ll work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to provide targeted 1:1 support for a pupil with GDD. Your role will be key in ensuring they receive the emotional, academic, and social support needed to progress confidently in the classroom.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

• Supporting learning and development through tailored strategies and activities

• Assisting with the implementation of the pupil s Individual Education Plan (IEP)

• Encouraging engagement, confidence, and independence

• Promoting positive behaviour and emotional well-being

• Liaising with teachers, SENCO, and external professionals

• Adapting resources to meet the pupil s individual learning style

• Recording and reporting on progress
