Job summary

Tywyn Primary School in Tywyn, Wales, is seeking a responsible Teaching Assistant to join a friendly school team. The post will involve working with groups of children across foundation phase and KS2, delivering PPA, SEN and staff development cover.

The Governors require NVQ Level 4 or equivalent and strong literacy and numeracy, enthusiasm and good people skills. The role is permanent, 27.5 hours per week, 39 weeks per year.

The Governors of Tywyn Primary School wish to appoint a responsible, reliable person for the post of a Teaching Assistant. The post will require the successful applicant to work with groups of children and form part of a team of teaching assistants working across foundation phase and KS2. The post holder will also provide PPA, SEN and staff professional development cover across all age ranges.

• Must be qualified to NVQ Level 4 or equivalent in a related childcare discipline.
