Job summary

Sandside Lodge School is looking to appoint various full-time Teaching Assistants starting September 2026. You will work across the whole school and support students, particularly those with severe, profound, and complex needs.

This role is for 30 hours per week during term time only, with a salary of £28,598 pro rata. Candidates must have a minimum of NVQ Level 3 and will need to pass an enhanced DBS check.

Job Summary

Due to the development and expansion of the school, the Headteacher and Governors would like to appoint various full‑time Teaching Assistants to commence September 2026, in classes across our whole school.

Schedule and Salary

30 hours per week, term time only (8.45am – 3.15pm). Fixed‑term from September 1st 2026 until July 16th. Salary: £28,598 pro rata including JWCs (currently £14.82 per hour).

• Experience of working with students with a range of severe, profound and complex needs.

• Successful enhanced DBS check.
• Two satisfactory written references.
