Job summary

TipTopJob is recruiting on behalf of a mixed secondary school and sixth form in the London Borough of Sutton for a Teaching Assistant.

The role is a full-time, long-term post with scope to go permanent, with Monday to Friday, 8am–4pm hours and an immediate start. Open to recent graduates or experienced Teaching Assistants; right to work in the UK and an Enhanced DBS are required.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Supporting SEN and LAP students in group or whole class intervention sessions
• Working with the teachers to ensure each students learning needs are identified
• Attending to students social, emotional and personal needs when required
• Supporting behaviour management and using appropriate strategies in line with academy policy
• Undertaking learning activities/teaching programmes when needed

A Teaching Assistant is needed in a Mixed Secondary School and Sixth Form in South London.

This will be a full time long term Teaching Assistant position with scope to go permanent.

Working days and hours for this Teaching Assistant post will be Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm.

Responsibilities for this Teaching Assistant role will include but not be limited to:

• Supporting SEN and LAP students in group or whole class intervention sessions

The rates of pay for this Teaching Assistant position will be between GBP85.50 to GBP124.87 a day, depending on the qualifications and experiences of each applicant.

Requirements
