Job summary

Prospero Teaching is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a warm, supportive primary school in Sudbury, starting September. You will support pupils across the primary age range and contribute to a positive classroom environment.

The role is full-time, with a 08:30–15:45 schedule and the opportunity to develop your career through strong mentorship and ongoing professional development offered by the school and Prospero Teaching.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children in a UK primary school (placements accepted).
• Up-to-date safeguarding training within the last year (desirable).
• Two professional child-related references.

Teaching Assistant - Sudbury- September Start

Prospero Teaching are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a warm, supportive primary school in Sudbury, starting September. The school is looking for a committed practitioner with effective behaviour management skills and a genuine desire to inspire and support pupils across the primary age range.

CONTRACT DETAILS

• Location - Sudbury
• Position - Teaching Assistant
• Type of work - Classroom support
• Start date - September
• Duration - Ongoing / Long-term
• Full time/part-time - Full time
• Rate of pay - 90- 100 per day (depending on experience)
• Hours - 08:30am - 15:45pm

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience supporting children in a UK primary school (placements accepted)
• Relevant TA training or qualifications desirable
• Up-to-date Safeguarding training issued within the last year (desirable)

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

• Hold Right to Work in the UK
• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one
• Provide two professional child-related references
