Job summary

Outwood Academy Haydock in Haydock, St Helens, is seeking a Teaching Assistant to join our supportive team. You will work directly with teachers to implement tailored learning activities and provide essential academic and welfare support to individuals and small groups.

This permanent role covers classroom support, intervention management (including SEND and EAL), and helping to develop individualized student plans. Start date 09/11/2026; 30 hours per week, term-time plus 5 days.

Start Date: 09/11/2026

Salary (Actual Salary): £18,389-£19,099 (Grade 3)

Working Pattern: 30 Hours Per Week, Monday to Friday, Term Time only + 5 days days (This is a permanent contract subject to external funding for the nurture provision currently approved until 31/08/2029)
