Job summary

Teach South in East Sussex is seeking a compassionate Teaching Assistant to support students across secondary schools. You will work with teachers to create an inclusive learning environment, help engage learners, build confidence, and support students who need extra help.

This role is full time during term time with immediate start. The successful candidate may be a graduate considering teacher training or someone with experience working with children, capable of working as part of a team,

Qualifications

• Graduate looking to take first steps into education or pursuing teacher training.
• Experience working with children and keen to bring those skills to secondary education.
• Good communication and enjoy working as part of a team.

Are you a graduate considering teacher training, or do you already have experience working with children? We’re looking for a caring, enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to support students across secondary schools in East Sussex.

This is a great opportunity to gain hands‑on experience in education and make a positive difference to young people’s learning and wellbeing. You’ll work with teachers and other staff to help students engage with lessons, build confidence and reach their potential.
