A leading educational service provider in Saltburn-by-the-Sea is looking for a full-time Teaching Assistant for EYFS and Year 1. The role involves general support in a primary school and requires prior experience in a nursery or school setting. Candidates should possess a Teaching Assistant Qualification or equivalent and be able to work daily from 8:30 to 3:30. Connex Education are working with a large mainstream primary school and nursery provision in the Saltburn area who are seeking Teaching Assistants to work full time. We are looking for 2 Teaching Assistants specifically for EYFS and Year 1. The role is for general TA support within nursery and Y1 but you must also be happy providing some 1:1 support and small group sessions where required.
This primary school is a large three-form entry mainstream primary school who has a lovely team of teaching staff who will welcome you as part of the team. This inclusive primary school prides itself on strong teamwork, a child-centred approach and a positive school culture. They provide education and care from nursery age (2 years) upwards to Year 6.
This Teaching Assistant position is full time working Monday – Friday and has a January start 2026. You must be able to commit to 8:30-3:30 daily. Experience working in a school or nursery is required for this position – you are also invited to apply if you have recently completed a TA qualification and gained experience through a placement or a volunteer assignment.
