As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils with a range of complex physical, medical, and learning needs, ensuring they can access high-quality education.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work under the direction of the class teacher to implement activities and interventions tailored to pupils' personal needs.
  • Manage pupil behaviour in line with school policy.
  • Provide general classroom support, assisting with organisation and management.
  • Help create and maintain a purposeful, orderly, and supportive learning environment.
  • Promote inclusion, ensuring equal opportunities for all pupils to learn and develop.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with pupils, treating them with respect and consideration.
  • Collaborate with families and external agencies to ensure every pupil is valued, challenged, and supported.
