Are you a caring and committed Level 2 Teaching Assistant with a passion for supporting children with Special Educational Needs?

Monarch Education are currently recruiting on behalf of a vibrant primary school in Oldham (OL3) who are seeking a skilled SEN TA to join their team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong understanding of SEN and a desire to make a meaningful impact in the lives of primary-aged pupils.

The Role
  • Provide targeted support to pupils with a range of SEN, including autism, ADHD and learning difficulties.
  • Assist in the delivery of personalised learning plans, under the guidance of the class teacher and SENCO.
  • Support pupils both in the classroom and during small group or 1 : 1 interventions.
  • Help create a safe, inclusive and engaging learning environment.
  • Monitor progress and contribute to pupil assessments and reviews.
Requirements
  • Level 2 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning (or equivalent) - essential.
  • Experience working with primary-aged children in an SEN capacity.
  • Strong understanding of SEN strategies and a flexible, nurturing approach.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
