Teaching Assistant

Location: Trent Acres, Kings Bromley, DE13 7HR

Salary: £23,638.00 per annum (not pro rata)

Hours: 40 hours per week (Monday‑Friday, 8:00am‑4:00pm) • Contract: Permanent, Term Time Only • Start: December 2025 • UK applicants only – no sponsorship

Responsibilities
  • Support the planning and delivery of engaging lessons and activities
  • Provide 1:1 and small group support tailored to individual pupil needs
  • Prepare learning materials and help create stimulating, hands‑on experiences
  • Promote pupils’ emotional, social, and physical wellbeing
  • Supervise learning both in the classroom and in outdoor or nature‑based activities
  • Contribute to a positive, nurturing, and respectful school culture
Qualifications & Experience
  • GCSE English and Maths at Grade C/4 or above (or equivalent)

About the School

Trent Acres School is undergoing development, increasing pupils from 30 to 60, recently approved to open an Early Years Unit and extend Primary provision. The purpose‑built school has specialist learning areas, including an indoor and outdoor riding school, outdoor gymnasium, and opportunities to work with horses, donkeys, goats, alpaca, and chickens. Learning outside the classroom is fundamental to our approach.
