Graduate Teaching AssistantLocation: Hull

Rate: £89 to £105 per day (Depending on experience)

Start Date: ASAP

Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

Are you a recent graduate with a passion for education and a desire to make a difference in the classroom?

GSL Education are seeking enthusiastic and motivated Graduate Teaching Assistant (TA) to join supportive school in Hull. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in education, support students in their learning journey, and explore a potential career in teaching.

About the Role

As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with class teachers and school staff to support students across a range of subjects and abilities. You’ll play a key role in helping pupils stay engaged, motivated, and on track with their learning.

Responsibilities
  • Provide classroom support to teachers and students across various subjects.
  • Work one-on-one or in small groups to reinforce learning objectives.
  • Assist with lesson preparation and classroom management.
  • Support students with additional needs, helping them access the curriculum.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Requirements
  • A degree in any subject (education-related degrees are a plus).
  • A genuine interest in working with children or young people.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A proactive, flexible, and enthusiastic approach to learning support.
  • Previous experience in a school or tutoring setting is desirable but not essential.
