Role Overview

Our Teaching Assistants are fulfilled by the idea of making even the smallest positive changes in our young people, so we celebrate the little things. We call these "huge small victories" and, while they may seem small on the surface, they add up to make a big difference.

You’ll work with children and young people who have Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, Asperger’s or Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs. You’ll help them learn, develop abilities and raise their self‑esteem. You should be resilient, dedicated and proud of the positive steps forward you help create.

The role offers support to succeed, with experienced colleagues, well‑resourced environments and a commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support teachers and therapists in delivering lessons and activities.
  • Assist children with ASD, ADHD, Asperger’s, SEMH in learning and daily tasks.
  • Maintain a positive, inclusive environment for all pupils.
  • Participate in induction and ongoing training.
  • Help create therapeutic activities, such as recreational use of the courtyard.

  • Preferable experience working in a classroom or related setting.
  • Passion for supporting children to learn and positively impacting their lives.
  • Team player who rolls up sleeves to help others.
