Job summary

Witherslack Group Ltd. is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support children and young people with SEND in a nurturing school environment. You will help learners engage, develop skills and build confidence under the guidance of teachers and therapists.

Join us in Hinckley for a role that provides full induction, holiday breaks during school terms and clear progression paths. Training and wellbeing resources are available to help you thrive and contribute positively to our learners’ lives.

Qualifications

  • Experience supporting children in a classroom setting preferred.
  • Ability to engage and motivate pupils with SEND.
  • Willingness to learn and follow instruction from teachers and therapists.

Responsibilities

  • Assist teaching staff in delivering lessons and activities.
  • Support pupils' social, emotional and learning needs.
  • Monitor progress and provide positive feedback to learners.

Job description
