Job summary

Randstad UK is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support KS3 and KS4 SEN learners at a specialist school in Hassocks. This full-time position runs on a contract until July 2027, with term-time working and onsite training provided.

The school serves 120+ pupils and has an outstanding OFSTED rating, offering modern resources and clear progression paths into therapies or inclusion support. Responsibilities include 1:1 and small group support, liaising with carers, and participation in staff

Qualifications

• 3-12 months experience in education, care or childcare.
• Eligibility to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Supporting KS3–KS4 learners on a 1:1, small group and classroom basis.
• Communicating with parents and carers about pupils’ progress and participating in departmental meetings, parents’ evenings and whole school training events.

The position is as follows:

• Full time Teaching Assistant needed for KS3 & 4 SEN support within a specialist school, Onsite training is provided

Contract till July 2027 /Term time only
