A high-achieving boys’ selective state school in Greater London is seeking a Teaching Assistant to support students and assist in maintaining a productive learning environment. Responsibilities include individual and whole-class support, aiding in planning and assessment, and maintaining good communication with parents and external agencies. The Teaching Assistant role involves supporting students, assisting the class teacher, helping maintain a productive & positive learning environment and assisting with administration. You may be required to provide ad‑hoc or dedicated 1:1 support to specific students and also to provide whole‑class support in lessons, as well as transition times, according to your skill set. You will have a high level of autonomy in your working day. The role is part of the Learning Support Department at Tiffin School, a high‑achieving boys’ selective state school with a mixed Sixth Form.
