A primary educational institution in Glastonbury is seeking a Teaching Assistant to support SEND students on a 1:1 basis. Hours: 32.5 per week, term time only, plus 2 inset days
Salary: Grade 2 (SP4‑5), Actual Salary (£18,752 – £19,048) (Full time equivalent £25,185 – £25,583)
We are delighted to be able to advertise for the role of Teaching Assistant. This role involves working on a 1:1 basis as well as providing support for other SEND students. The successful candidate will work under the direction of our SENDCo, teaching staff and school leadership to support students to access the curriculum and make progress, as well as to meet individual OT, SALT and care needs. This role would be ideal for experienced teaching assistants looking for a new challenge and also for someone wishing to try a new role or begin working in education.
