Job summary

Academics Ltd in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire, is seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant/Learning Support Assistant to join a supportive secondary school. The role is full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 3:30pm with an ASAP or January 2027 start and a daily rate of 100.

You will support pupils in Key Stage 3 and 4, assisting with learning objectives and personal development goals in a school that offers training, good transport links and parking.

Qualifications

• Experience working with Key Stage 3 and 4 in a secondary school.
• Knowledge of the UK Curriculum and assessment expectations.
• Ability to support students’ personal development goals.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils to meet development goals and achieve learning targets.
• Assist the class teacher with delivering lessons and managing classroom activities.
• Provide positive behaviour support and monitor pupil progress.
