Why This Role is Valuable for Teacher Training

You’ll gain real classroom experience ahead of applying for teacher training, which is often looked upon favourably by training providers.

You’ll develop skills in classroom management, differentiation, intervention, monitoring pupil progress and working with SEN / EAL pupils – all of which are key to effective teaching.

The role provides a bridge into teaching, enabling you to test your commitment to the profession and build your network and references within a school.

Many schools offering graduate LSA roles highlight that they are ideal for those "considering a career in education, psychology, social work or youth mentoring."
