Job summary

GSL Education in Glossop is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join primary schools in and around Glossop. You will support teachers during lessons, help with classroom activities, and assist with learning resources to raise pupil engagement and attainment.

The role requires empathy, patience, and teamwork. Previous experience in schools or childcare is valued, and ongoing professional development is provided to support your growth within education.

Qualifications

• Experienced teaching assistant, working with children in schools, childcare, tutoring, or youth work.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills from working as a teaching assistant prior.
• A patient, caring, and proactive approach.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Relevant qualifications are desirable but not essential.
