Job summary

T4S Education is seeking a dedicated teaching assistant to support primary pupils across local Wolverhampton area schools. You will deliver planned activities, assist with academic, social and emotional development, and support class teachers in daily learning tasks.

The role requires reliability, with arrivals around 8:20am; a Level 2 TA qualification is preferred but not essential; phonics experience and SEND experience are valued.

Qualifications

• Phonics experience and SEND pupils experience are advantageous.
• Minimum Level 2 TA qualification preferred but not essential.
• Be proactive, engaging and passionate about supporting children's learning.

Responsibilities

• Deliver planned lessons and activities to pupils.
• Assist pupils in academic, social, and emotional development.
• Support the class teacher with learning activities and classroom routines.
• Help prepare and complete learning activities as needed.
• Be committed to the role and consistent in attendance.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Delivering planned lessons to the best of your ability
• Assisting the pupils with developing academically, socially and emotionally
• Support the class teachers within school
• Assist in preparing the completing learning activities when needed
• Be committed to the role in its entirety

Requirements or Skills:

• Minimum level 2 Teaching assistant qualification preferred but no essential
• Phonics experience
• Experience working with primary aged SEND pupils
• Be proactive, engaging, and passionate about supporting childrens learning and development
• Be able to arrive for 8.20am
