Job summary

Woodgate Primary Academy is seeking a highly organised and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join their team in Crawley. The role is part-time (13 hours per week) with salary aligned to the UK pay scale (£25,615–£26,017 fte; actual starting salary £7,525.35–£7,643.45).

The successful candidate will support groups of children, help them access the curriculum in a mainstream class, and deliver small-group intervention programmes.

Qualifications

• Experience of working with groups of children.
• Ability to support pupils to access the curriculum within a mainstream class.
• Deliver intervention programmes to groups of children.
• Good basic literacy and numeracy skills (GCSE level or above) with effective written and oral communication.

11. Have experience of some behaviour management techniques.
