Job description
Overview

Teaching Assistant (TA) role at a Westminster primary school. Full-time position suitable for someone with KS2 experience and a desire to support pupil progress in a dynamic, supportive environment.

Location: Westminster

Pay Rate: £90 to £110 per day (depending on experience)

Start Date: ASAP

Contract Type: Long-term, Full-time (8:30am – 4:15pm)

Responsibilities
  • Support teachers in delivering the KS2 curriculum effectively.
  • Lead targeted interventions to boost pupil progress.
  • Encourage positive behaviour and independent learning.
  • Help maintain an inclusive and engaging classroom atmosphere.
  • Collaborate with staff to meet the academic and emotional needs of pupils.
Requirements
  • Strong experience working within KS2 and solid curriculum knowledge.
  • Recent school-based experience is essential.
  • Confident in delivering academic interventions.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Relevant qualifications or training in education are desirable.
