Job summary

Hatherop Castle School seeks a proactive Teaching Assistant to support pupils in Key Stage 2 and 3, within a thriving co-educational prep school and nursery in the Cotswolds. You will work closely with teachers, SENCo and pastoral teams to aid academic, social and emotional development.

The role is a fixed term contract until 2 July 2027, 20-24 hours per week, term time only, with pension and on-site meals provided, plus a staff room and wellbeing support.

Qualifications

• Experience assisting pupils to achieve learning goals.
• Ability to work effectively with KS2/KS3 pupils.
• Good communication with teachers, parents and wider staff.

Responsibilities

• Support class teachers in daily activities and planning.
• Help monitor pupil progress and wellbeing.
• Promote a positive, inclusive classroom environment.
