Job summary

Kiwi School, situated on the edge of Salisbury Plain near Bulford and Amesbury, is seeking a warm, creative Teaching Assistant to support students across the school, including in the Resource Base. You will work with lessons, small groups or 1:1, helping develop self-esteem, inclusion and behaviour, with midday supervisor duties attached.

Applications from candidates with other relevant experience are welcome, and training or apprenticeships may be offered.

Salary

Wilts Grade D/E depending on experience - £13.48 - £14.36 per hour

Hours of work

5 days per week (Monday - Friday), timings: 08:40 to 15.10hrs (includes 30 minutes unpaid lunch break) Term-time only with inset days on request

All about the role

We have an exciting opportunity for a warm, creative and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to support students with their learning across the school including within the school's Resource Base. Key responsibilities include supporting students learning, either in lessons, small groups or through 1:1 work as well as supporting the development of their self-esteem, inclusion and behaviour. A commitment to help all young people and staff to achieve their best and a shared belief in our inclusive ethos is expected of all staff.

There will be Midday Supervisor duties attached to the role.

We will consider applications from candidates who have other relevant experience and can provide training and/or the possibility of an apprenticeship.
