Hartwell School is an independent specialist day school providing high quality education, based in Stockton-on-Tees. The school meets the needs of a diverse group of pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, alongside a range of other associated conditions. As a Teaching Assistant at Witherslack Group, you’ll work with children and young people with Autistic Spectrum Disorder/Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs. You’ll help them learn, develop their abilities and raise their self-esteem. You will need to be resilient and dedicated, but the huge small victories you achieve will be something you’re really proud of. The role includes support across classroom learning and the development of positive behaviours and independence.
You’ll be supported to succeed in a well-resourced school environment and will be part of a team that strives to make a meaningful difference in the lives of young people.
