Job summary

Randstad Education is seeking a compassionate Primary Teaching Assistant to support EYFS to KS2 across Beccles and surrounding areas. You will assist class teachers, help groups, and promote a safe, engaging learning environment.

Qualifications

Key Responsibilities:

What We Look For:

• Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2 or Level 3 Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning) or solid prior experience supporting children in an educational or child-centred setting.

• A patient, encouraging, and empathetic nature with strong communication skills.

• Good foundational knowledge of early reading, phonics, and primary age-group development.

• An adaptable, hands-on approach and the confidence to take initiative in a lively classroom environment.

• A valid Enhanced DBS check registered on the Update Service (or a willingness to complete one).
