TimePlan Education is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a supportive school in Moston, Manchester. This role is to start Jan 2026 and offers a rewarding opportunity to support children within a mainstream primary classroom, supporting the teacher to deliver the curriculum.

The Role

As a Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Assist the class teacher in delivering tailored learning activities
  • Provide one-to-one or small-group support to help students reach their full potential
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Work closely with teachers, parents, and external professionals to support student progress
The Ideal Candidate

The successful candidate will have:

  • Previous experience working in a year 5 or year 6 classroom
  • A patient, nurturing, and proactive approach
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • A passion for helping children overcome barriers to learning
  • An enhanced DBS on the update service (or be willing to obtain one)
