A leading educational institution in England is seeking a Teaching and Learning Assistant - Level 2 for its newly established SEN department. Newhouse Academy has an excellent opportunity for a Teaching and Learning Assistant - Level 2 to join our brand new SEN department, Aspire.
We are based within a brand new, state of art building which houses Aspire (our SEN department), Science, Music, Performing Arts, Technology, and PE.
As a Teaching Assistant Level 2 at Newhouse Academy you will have access to free training and CPD opportunities. You will also have access to our teaching assistant coaching programme, this will allow you to further develop your expertise, encouraging progression. There may also be opportunity to undertake 1:1 interventions.
In return, we offer:
Hours: 32.5 hours per week - TTO (which includes 3 training days for employees with under 5 years continuous service).
Salary: NJC Grade 3 Scale Point Range Points 5-6, starting scale point is dependent on experience. Actual salary £19,048 – £19,350.
Contract type: Permanent
Start date: January 2026 / upon receipt of satisfactory pre-employment checks
