SEMH, SEN and SEND Teachers - Wellingborough, Northampton and Surrounding areas 🌟

Location: Wellingborough, Northampton, Kettering, Corby, Thrapston and Surrounding Areas

Job Type: Full-time | Part-time | Temporary | Permanent

Salary: £140 - £220 per day (depending on experience and role)

🌈 The Role

You’ll be supporting pupils with a variety of special educational needs and disabilities including:

  • Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs
  • Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
  • ADHD
  • Speech, language, and communication difficulties
  • Moderate and severe learning difficulties

Your responsibilities may include (depending on the role):

  • Planning and delivering differentiated lessons tailored to individual learning needs.
  • Creating a supportive and engaging classroom environment.
  • Working collaboratively with SENCOs, support staff, and parents.
  • Tracking progress and contributing to Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
🎓 About You
  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or are an ECT with a passion for SEN or with relevant UK experience.
  • Experience teaching pupils with SEN, SEND, or SEMH needs in UK schools.
  • Additional training such as Team Teach, PECS, Makaton, or Autism Awareness is desirable.
  • Patient, empathetic, and committed to inclusive education.
