Job description

Tradewind Recruitment are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Psychology and Sociology Teacher to join a high-achieving secondary school in Liverpool. This is an exciting opportunity to teach motivated students in a supportive and forward-thinking environment, starting as soon as possible.

The successful candidate will be able to deliver engaging and challenging lessons across Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5, inspiring students to explore and excel in Psychology and Sociology. You will be joining a strong social sciences department with excellent resources and a collaborative ethos.

The role:
  • Salary, upto 232.56 per day (depending on experience)
  • Teaching Psychology and Sociology to KS4 and KS5
  • Planning and delivering creative and effective lessons
  • Monitoring and assessing student progress
  • Contributing to departmental initiatives and enrichment opportunities
Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Enhanced CHILD workforce DBS
  • Experience teaching Psychology and Sociology at KS4 and KS5
  • A strong subject knowledge and a passion for inspiring young people
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills
