It is an exciting time to work with the Science team, with large numbers of students choosing to study the triple sciences at GCSE, along with ever-increasing numbers of students studying the sciences at A level.

Expert Support: be part of a 13-strong team, fully supported by three experienced Science Technicians who ensure maximum practical opportunities.

Focus on STEM: be part of our fantastic team of staff who aim to inspire students through a focus on careers, educational visits and talks that integrate within the science curriculum. At KS3 a broad range of science topics are taught to provide the foundation knowledge required for success in the sciences. At GCSE we follow the AQA Triple Science and Trilogy Science courses. At A Level, Biology and Chemistry follow the OCR A specifications, Physics follows the AQA specification.

The Science department works closely with our excellent careers team to take the lead in a wide range of STEM opportunities for students.
