Overview

Veritas Education is proud to be working in partnership with a thriving secondary school in Kirklees to recruit a committed and enthusiastic Science Teacher. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic department and make a real impact on students' learning and progress in science.

Responsibilities
  • Teach Science across Key Stages 3 and 4 (Biology, Chemistry, and/or Physics depending on specialism).
  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons that meet the needs of all learners.
  • Assess student progress and contribute to raising attainment.
  • Support the wider school ethos and participate in extracurricular activities where appropriate.
Candidate Requirements
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching Science in a UK secondary school setting.
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for science education.
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
