Are you a Teacher of Science looking to join an Outstanding Secondary School in September 2025?

An 'Outstanding' and supportive Secondary School in the Borough of Bexley is seeking a Teacher of Science for a September 2025 start. This is a full-time and permanent position.

The current Science Head of Department has led the department to significant growth. The team includes young, experienced, and Teach First Teachers, alongside Science graduate Teaching Assistants who support attainment across KS3, 4 & 5.

This school has achieved impressive Progress 8 results across all key stages and fosters a fun, creative learning environment.

Experienced Science Teachers may take on TLR roles such as KS3 & KS4 Coordinator or Pastoral Responsibilities.

Newly Qualified Teachers (ECTs) will benefit from the school's bespoke ECT induction program, working alongside a mix of young and experienced Science Teachers.

Person Specification - Teacher of Science

• UK QTS or in the process of gaining it
• Strong academic background: Degree, A Levels, GCSEs
• Meeting the 8 Teaching Standards to a 'Good' or 'Outstanding' level
• Ability to work effectively within a large team of Science Teachers
• Willingness to listen to feedback
