Job description
Tradewind Recruitment are actively looking for committed and knowledgeable Qualified Science Teachers to teach in a range of secondary schools in the Dartford area. The roles are full time and will start in January 2026.

Salary: £32,916 - £51,047 depending on pay scale and experience.

Responsibilities:
  • Plan and deliver lessons across all 3 disciplines of Science to KS3 and KS4 students
  • Utilise a variety of teaching strategies to accommodate different learning styles and abilities
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where students feel encouraged to ask questions
  • Attend departmental meetings and parents evenings when required
  • Actively participate in extracurricular activities and school events to enrich the educational experience
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Strong subject knowledge across Chemistry, Physics and Biology
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and growth
  • Experience of teaching Science to KS3 and KS4 students
  • Hold or be willing to apply for an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
  • CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible
  • Legal right to work in the UK
