Job summary

Barton Peveril Sixth Form College is seeking an outstanding Politics teacher, or someone aiming to become one, to join its Humanities team.

You will be part of a large, well-resourced college with a culture of shared practice and ongoing professional development, and you could start from January 2027 or sooner if available. The role offers the chance to contribute to high student outcomes in politics and wider humanities education.

• Teach Politics to sixth form students within the Humanities team.
• Contribute to sharing teaching resources and refining techniques.

If you are an outstanding Politics teacher, or determined to become one, we would very much like to hear from you. You will join an excellent team, strongly committed to reflecting on its teaching techniques and sharing excellent resources. You will join a team of 11 full time and part time Humanities staff working in a spacious, well-resourced building.
