Job description

As a Teacher of Physics, you will play a key role in developing students' understanding of the fundamental principles that underpin our universe, from forces, energy and motion to electricity, waves and modern Physics. You will inspire students to question, investigate and apply their knowledge to real-world situations.

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teacher of Physics to join our successful Science team. You will teach engaging and challenging lessons across all key stages including A Level; with an opportunity to contribute to the continued development of our sixth-form provision. Whether you are an experienced A Level teacher or are looking to develop your experience at this level, you will be supported by an experienced and collaborative department. You will have the opportunity to develop students' mathematical and problem-solving skills alongside their practical understanding, helping them to see the relevance and excitement of Physics beyond the classroom.

We are also keen to hear from teachers who are looking for opportunities to grow as leaders. Alongside your classroom teaching, there are opportunities to contribute to curriculum development, practical science, enrichment and extra-curricular activities, or wider departmental strategy. You may also have the opportunity to support and mentor Early Career Teachers and contribute to initiatives that further develop the teaching and learning of Physics across the school.
