Qualifications

Job Title: Teacher of PE

Pay £31650 - £49,084 per annum ( inclusive of holiday pay )

CER Education is working with a popular, oversubscribed secondary school in Liverpool to recruit an enthusiastic, dynamic and inspiring PE Teacher.

This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate educator to join a high‑performing department and help students achieve their potential, and to promote health, fitness and a lifelong love of sport in young people. The school has modern facilities including sports hall, fitness suite and outdoor pitches.

The role is to start in January 2026 and will continue until July 2026.

What you'll need
  • QTS or PGCE in PE
  • Strong knowledge of the KS3 and KS4 PE curriculum ( with potential of KS5 dependant on experience )
  • Ability to inspire and motivate pupils and to deliver engaging lessons
  • Excellent classroom management skills
  • Work collaboratively within the supportive PE department and act as a positive role model
  • Enhanced DBS check or willingness to obtain one
