Dundee City Council is seeking qualified teachers for Baldragon Academy, Greenfield Academy or Harris Academy. You will be GTCS registered (Primary or Secondary) and prepared to teach in August 2026, with a focus on Curriculum for Excellence and current Scottish education issues.
You will deliver high-quality education to assigned pupils, contribute to the school community, and participate in professional learning to support young people in a collaborative, caring environment.
Based at Baldragon Academy, Greenfield Academy or Harris Academy, you will work full time, 35 hours per week.
You will be GTCS Registered ( Primary or Secondary) in August 2026, have knowledge of relevant curriculum areas and an awareness of main current issues in Scottish education.
You will deliver quality education to assigned pupils and contribute, within the collegiate ethos, to the professional life of the school.
You will also demonstrate application and knowledge of Curriculum for Excellence and have evidence of appropriate Professional Learning in a range of areas. In addition you will have a positive and caring approach and commitment to young people, have good communication/ interpersonal skills and relate well to others. This post is considered Regulated Work with Children and/or Protected Adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The preferred candidate will require to join the PVG Scheme to undergo a PVG Scheme update check prior to a formal offer of employment being made by Dundee City Council.
