Part time position, working 19.5 hours per week (0.6 FTE)
Easter 2026 start (or earlier if possible)


Salary: MPS1 – UPS3 - £32,916 - £51,048 per annum pro rata

Actual Salary: £19,749.60 - £30,628.80 per annum

The successful candidate will be experienced to A level, or alternatively this post is also suitable for new entrants to the profession. At KS3 we have developed a broad and balanced curriculum which not only prepares students for the demands of GCSE but develops an interest and appreciation of music, both as a listener and active participator. In year 9, students can choose a music pathway which allows for the study of Music Technology or Performance. This can be followed by the study of OCR GCSE Music. We have a range of thriving enrichments available for students within the Music Department and offer a range of peripatetic lessons. All staff are expected to work alongside the teaching staff to be role models for our students, demonstrating the highest standards of teamwork, collaboration and respect.
