About the Role

We are seeking an exceptional and passionate Mathematics teacher to join our successful Maths department. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated educator with strong subject knowledge and a commitment to inspiring students to achieve their full potential. As a Teacher of Maths, you will deliver high-quality lessons across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5, fostering confidence and a love of learning in Mathematics. You will contribute to the development of an engaging and ambitious curriculum, ensuring that all students are challenged and supported to succeed. This role requires creativity, enthusiasm, and a drive to raise standards and outcomes for all learners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging and well-structured Mathematics lessons across KS3-KS5 that motivate and challenge students of all abilities.
  • Plan and implement a stimulating curriculum that reflects national standards and promotes deep understanding of mathematical concepts.
  • Use a range of teaching strategies and resources to support learning, including problem-solving, ICT, and real-world applications.
  • Assess student progress effectively, providing timely feedback and implementing interventions to maximise attainment.
  • Contribute to the development of schemes of work and departmental resources, ensuring they are innovative and inclusive.
  • Promote a love of Mathematics, encouraging students to explore the subject beyond the classroom and appreciate its relevance to everyday life.
  • Participate in departmental and whole-school initiatives, supporting the school's vision for excellence in teaching and learning.
  • Maintain high standards of behaviour and engagement, creating a positive and safe learning environment.
About You

The ideal candidate will:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a good honours degree in Mathematics or a closely related subject.
  • Be an outstanding classroom practitioner with strong subject knowledge and a track record of securing excellent student outcomes.
