The Role

Bradfield College is seeking an outstanding Teacher of Mathematics to join one of its largest and most successful academic departments.

As a Teacher of Mathematics, you will plan and deliver well‑structured, engaging Maths lessons to students from across the school, helping to inspire a genuine passion for Mathematics in our pupils. There will also be opportunities for you to contribute to the College's extensive co‑curricular and enrichment programmes.

This is an excellent opportunity for a talented and enthusiastic teacher to play a key role in a subject that is highly popular throughout the school. The role would suit an experienced teacher, a recent graduate or someone with professional experience in Mathematics looking to move into education. You will bring strong subject knowledge, a commitment to exceptional teaching and learning, and the ability to motivate students of all ages and abilities.

The Mathematics Department

Mathematics is a popular subject at Bradfield College, particularly at A Level, with approximately 100 out of 160 pupils in each Sixth Form year taking some form of Maths course. Enrichment beyond the syllabus is a central part of our teaching. Many pupils take part in UKMT competitions each year, small groups regularly attend external lectures and the local Senior Team Challenge event, and we coach a number of students for entry to top universities, including support with STEP preparation where appropriate.
