Part‑time or full‑time humanities teacher to join a school in the heart of Exeter on a long‑term basis.

Your new role

Hays are currently seeking a qualified Humanities Teacher to join a school in Exeter on a long‑term basis, with the potential to go permanent for the right candidate. You will be responsible for implementing and delivering a balanced and relevant curriculum whilst differentiating content appropriately. The school is ideally seeking a full‑time teacher, however, they would also consider a part‑time work pattern and offer a trial week to see if the applicant is comfortable in the role. One week’s notice period would be required if taking on the long‑term position should your circumstances change. In addition, you are able to book days off when necessary, offering you a healthy work‑life balance. The majority of the planning is done, so you can focus on the teaching itself. This role is suitable for NQTs/ECTs and qualified teachers with experience teaching Geography within a secondary setting who are passionate about their subject and value a consistent education for students of today. In addition, the school offers continued professional development for those seeking growth opportunities. You will be supported throughout this role and given the opportunity for further employment at the end of the contract if necessary.
