About the Role

The successful candidate will deliver engaging and high-quality lessons to KS3 and KS4 students, fostering a passion for History while supporting academic achievement and personal development.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging History lessons across KS3 and KS4 in line with curriculum and assessment requirements.
• Plan and prepare differentiated lessons and schemes of work to meet the needs of all learners.
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and maintaining accurate records.
• Contribute to departmental planning, curriculum development, and extra-curricular activities.
• Promote student engagement and participation in History-related events and projects.

Candidate Requirements

• QTS or QTLS qualified.
• Experience teaching History to KS3 and KS4 students.
• Strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for teaching History.
