An educational agency is recruiting a part-time Teacher of Health and Social Care / Child Development / Social Sciences to join an academy in Suffolk from January 2026. This role welcomes applications from early career teachers and experienced educators with examination experience. Responsibilities include delivering a positive learning environment and teaching core subjects. A relevant degree is required, along with eligibility to work in the UK and safeguarding checks.
Strategy Education is working on behalf of an 11‑18 academy that requires a teacher of child development / health and social care to join them on a part‑time basis from January 2026. Applications from early career teachers all the way to experienced teachers are welcome, but experience of working with examinations is essential for application.
The academy is based in Suffolk and places real focus on staff wellbeing, collaborative practice and creating a climate where teaching and learning is calm and engaging.
The successful candidate will initially be employed on a temporary basis and will be expected to deliver a positive learning environment for all students, to teach Child Development and Health and Social Care, with the opportunity to also teach across Social Sciences for the right candidate.
The successful candidate will have a relevant undergraduate degree and will be subject to a variety of checks including eligibility to work in the UK, an enhanced DBS and full references, including one from your most recent teaching placement.
