Overview

Are you a qualified Teacher of German ready to share your passion for language and culture in a dynamic, forward-thinking school? Tradewind Recruitment is delighted to be working with an Ofsted Outstanding Academy in Oldham, seeking a talented German specialist to join their Modern Languages Department on a full-time temporary basis from as soon as possible until Christmas, with the potential to continue beyond.


The Role

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic German teacher to teach pupils aged 11-16 in a supportive and ambitious school environment.



  • Full-time temporary teaching position

  • Delivery of engaging and inspiring lessons in German across Key Stages 3 and 4

  • Focus on developing key language skills in reading, writing, speaking, and listening

  • No Year 11 or GCSE exam classes - ideal for teachers who want to focus on language-building and engagement

  • Suitable for both Early Career Teachers and experienced practitioners


You will be working collaboratively within a dedicated Languages Department and will play an important role in helping to establish a strong culture of language learning as the school continues to grow.

Requirements

To join us and be successful in this German Teacher role, you will need to:



  • Hold QTS, QTLS, or a recognised Further Education qualification (PGCE14+, Certificate of Education, etc.)

  • Demonstrate excellent German language skills

  • Have experience teaching students aged 11-16

  • Hold or be willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS Disclosure and relevant employment checks

  • Have the legal right to work in the UK
