A charitable education trust is seeking a part-time Teacher of Geography for maternity cover at The Grangefield Academy. The successful applicant will have strong subject knowledge and excellent classroom practice to inspire Key Stages 3 students. Contract Type: Temporary
Salary Range: MPS1 – UPS3 (£32,916 - £51,048 FTE)
Working Type: Part time (19.5 hours, 52 working weeks, 52 paid weeks)
Base: The Grangefield Academy, Oxbridge Avenue, Stockton on Tees, TS18 4LE

The Grangefield Academy is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed Teacher of Geography to join our successful Humanities team temporarily to cover maternity leave.
This is an exciting opportunity for a talented teacher with a passion for Geography to inspire and engage students across Key Stages 3. We are an Ofsted outstanding school, with a fully planned curriculum and successful Geography Department with our 4+ and 5+ measures above the national average. Our lessons are fully resourced with student booklets to minimise staff workload and we have specialist director support available. The successful candidate will have strong subject knowledge, excellent classroom practice, and the ability to motivate students of all abilities to achieve their full potential.
