Pay Scale: MPS

We are seeking an experienced Teacher of Geography for maternity leave cover from 23rd February 2026 for one year (or until the post holder returns). The successful candidate will be required to deliver high quality lessons, motivate, challenge and inspire our students. They will be committed to closing gaps and raising attainment across all abilities, whatever the starting point. They should have a strong sense of teamwork, a willingness to contribute to the faculty and a desire to improve their own and the faculty’s practice. An ability to teach Geography to Key Stage 4 is essential with an ability to teach Geography to Key Stage 5 being an advantage.

This is a fantastic opportunity and the post would be suitable for experienced practitioners as well as newly qualified teachers, who would be able to benefit from our successful and supportive Olympus Academy Trust Early Career Framework Induction Programme.
