Role Overview

We are looking to appoint a suitably qualified French teacher to join a dynamic and supportive department. The post is permanent, full‑time or part‑time and would be suitable for either an ECT or an experienced teacher.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach French to Key Stage 3 students three times a week and support GCSE preparation at Key Stage 4.
  • Lead A‑level groups in French (and Spanish) at Kimberley College and expand enrolments.
  • Work within a suite of rooms on the first floor of the Humanities Block (Wootton) or a main teaching room with smaller seminar rooms (Kimberley) and facilitate conversation and speaking work.
  • Collaborate with a strong MFL team of three teachers and language assistants in a tight‑knit environment.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Graduate subject knowledge in French.
  • High expectations for student attainment.
  • Ability to teach up to Year 11 GCSE and offer a second subject (desirable).
  • Fluently spoken English and right to live and work in the UK (Part 7 of the Immigration Act 2016).
